Welcome ...
I am a practicing, board certified clinical neuropsychologist with more than 25 years experience. Every year, I evaluate and treat hundreds of patients with known or suspected neurological conditions, especially those who have sustained mild to moderate head injuries, who have developed progressive dementing disorders such as Alzheimer's Disease, and who have struggled with developmental neurobehavioral disorders such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. By using my knowledge, training and experience in these areas, I help physicians to better understand and treat their patients.
My evaluations also have legal applications for both plaintiff and defendant in civil matters and for both defendant and prosecution in criminal settings. My forensic services include all aspects of expert consultation, from exhaustive medical record review to advising you as a nontestifying consultant in preparation of a case, from comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation to trial testimony as an expert witness.
I specialize in the following areas:
- Brain Damage
- Psychological Injury
- Head Injury
- Dementia/Alzheimers
- Disability
- Competency
- Sexual Harassment/Assault
Clear and effective communication is a key component in all my work. Your psychologist expert must not only understand the data and issues, he must be able to effectively "tell the story" of the case to many people. It is essential that he communicate his findings and opinions in a clear, cohesive, interesting, and persuasive manner. This is the way I approach my work with patients, where it is they, their families and their doctors who need to know what is wrong and how to treat it. This is also the way I approach my work with attorneys, where it is judges, juries, opposing counsel, and other third parties who must understand the implication of the findings.
I invite you to browse my website and contact me if I can help your case in some way.
